Hybrid Free/Fee Guest Access

A leading boutique hotelier was facing a challenge: What to do with its free guest broadband networks? It had implemented a free offering across the board at all properties. While they won great acclaim for their service, the initial capital outlay and ongoing service costs were significant.

After consulting with Eleven they decided to leverage ElevenOS to implement a hybrid approach for guest access – offer a free basic plan for hotel guests with an option of premium service for a nominal fee. They also implemented direct credit card billing for non-guests.

The approach worked, instantly generating $2-4 per available room, per month. All the while, still offering their guests free Internet access. ElevenOS was able to make this changeover quick and painless.
