ElevenPS Delivers Self-Service Document Processing for the Hotel Business Center

technology services for hotel broadband networks, unveils a self-service,
business center multifunction laser printer for the hospitality market. Called ElevenPS,
the all-in-one system takes advantage of Lexmark’s new
Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) to generate revenue from the copy,
fax, and e-mail activity of guests.
Like Eleven’s other business center products,
the solution is fully monitored, managed and tightly integrated with guest
high-speed Internet access. For the first time, hotels can deliver a consistent
brand experience throughout the business center and on guest laptops. Hoteliers
have the ability to centrally control, track and report on usage and revenue
from both their business centers and guest Internet access.

The high-quality, full-color LCD display on ElevenPS
offers a user-friendly interface and a compelling marketing channel. The multifunction solution features: printing
and copying up to 50 pages per minute; flatbed and multi-page scanning; 33.6
Kbps Fax modem; and USB and 10/100 Base-TX connectivity.
From the initial screen, users are shown a
customizable logo, as well as the pricing for the system. There they may swipe
a credit card or manually enter their payment information. Hotels also have the option of providing
guests VIP access cards for complimentary usage. At the end of their session users have the
option to print or email a receipt (or both).
Should questions or service issues arise,
comprehensive on-screen help documentation can be accessed at any time by
clicking the question mark “?” on the screen. Eleven’s 24/7 support staff may
also address guest issues immediately; providing assistance on the use of the
system or refunding all or part of credit card charges. All charges and refunds
are tracked in ElevenOS for accurate reporting and auditing.
