Software Engineer

Eleven is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team responsible for building authentication, billing, account management and branding solutions for hotels, hospitals and convention centers.

You:

Applicants must have significant experience in object-oriented programming in an N-tier architecture. Our software is primarily written in C# and ASP.NET with a MSSQL database. Experience with C# or a similar object-oriented language, and with T-SQL, is essential. Additional consideration will be given to those who also have hands-on experience with advanced database concepts and high-availability web applications.

Eleven uses Agile development methodologies. As such, you must be comfortable working in a results-driven, team-oriented environment with frequent communication and feedback.

You should be hard-working and passionate about development. You should be smart and focused, with a creative side to solve difficult problems efficiently, effectively, and with an attention to detail. We need someone who can quickly add value to our team and who has as much to teach as they have to learn.

Primary job responsibilities:

Write production code and automated unit tests.
Participate in system design and architecture decisions.
Define requirements and set schedules with on-site customers.
Collaborate with other team members to evolve the development processes.

Other things you'll be asked to do:

Deploy new versions of our applications to production servers.
Provide operational and customer support for our products.
Get a Microsoft Certification.
Provide emergency support on a 24/7 basis as part of an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

Experience with an object-oriented programming language and SQL.
Experience developing web applications.
Interest in using Agile development methodologies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
